We have listed a number of important points to note if you come across a footpath reseal near you.

  • Property access will be maintained. There may be a brief period when the machinery is directly within your driveway, however as soon as it moves on, you will be able to freely enter and exit your property.

  • The general method of construction involves removing the existing footpath in large sections and subsequently replacing it with new asphalt. This means that there might be several days when the footpath in front of your property remains unsealed.

  • Inclement weather conditions may cause delays in completing sections of the footpath. In such cases, the contractor will return on the next suitable day to continue the work.

  • Please note that driveways are not considered part of the footpath asset and will not be included in the resealing process unless they meet the requirements outlined in the City of Launceston Footpath Reseal Guidelines. You can find a copy of these guidelines attached for your reference.
