Let's Fly Together

Let's Fly Together is a FREE community event organised by local group Community Together 7248.
Celebrating both Children's and Senior's weeks, this kite flying event will be perfect for families, with entertainment for all ages including:

• Enjoy live music from local band Just Flare
• Free face painting for kids
• Free BBQ
• Kiosk will be open - hot food & drinks for sale
• Raffles, giveaways and plenty of children's activities
• The Flying Dragon of Dreams - an incredible kite made entirely from recycled materials with the help of four local primary schools.

Bring your own kite or borrow one from a friend. There will be a limited number of kites available to purchase for $20 each.

The event will take place on the football oval (& clubhouse) which are located on Brooks Road, UTAS Newnham campus.
Directions: access Brooks Road off University Way, or from George Town Road, turn into Newnham Drive and turn right at the roundabout. Free parking available.
