The City of Launceston offers a variety of free parking options on selected days and times in the locations listed below.

 

Paterson Street East: Free parking Monday to Sunday from 3.30pm to 5.30pm

Paterson Street West: Free parking Monday to Sunday from 3.30pm to 5.30pm

Rivers Edge at Seaport: Free parking Sunday

York Street West: Free parking Sunday

Elizabeth Street: Free parking Monday to Sunday 3.30pm to 5.30pm

Invermay Road (Inveresk): Free parking Sunday

Northern Inveresk Car Park (off Forster Street): Free parking Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. This is the recommended parking location for the University of Tasmania Stadium for large events such as the AFL. 

Royal Park: Free parking Sunday

Bathurst Street: Free parking Sunday

Park Street: Free parking Saturday and Sunday

CH Smith: Free parking Monday to Friday 3.30pm to 5.30pm
