Carr Villa Memorial Park - Car park section closed

From 21 August 2024 the City of Launceston will begin the refurbishment of the cremator at the Carr Villa Memorial Park, located within the Crematorium Complex.  

These significant works will involve the removal and replacement of the main chamber's brickwork and repairs to the subfloor and walls. 

To facilitate these works, a section of the Crematorium car park will be closed from the 21 August 2024 - 15 September 2024. Please see below map which identified the area that will be fenced during this period.   

Pedestrian access will remain available to ash placement gardens within this area.
