Olympians to be welcomed home in Launnie

Inspiring Aussie Olympic and Paralympic athletes will be welcomed home at a free public event at Launceston's Riverbend Park this Saturday, September 21, between 11am and 12pm.

This event is being coordinated by the Tasmanian Government, the Australian Olympic Committee and the City of Launceston.

The Olympic and Paralympic Team Welcome Home event will feature athletes from the Australian Olympic and Paralympic swimming, hockey, and rowing teams, as well as support staff.
