Mona Foma a runaway success: Mayor

This weekend's Mona Foma has been labelled a runaway success by Launceston Mayor Danny Gibson.

"Launceston has been abuzz for the past three days with this amazing summer arts festival well and truly making its presence felt in our city," Mayor Gibson said.

"Not only have we seen an absolutely jam-packed program of artistic events, live music and activities, the city's streets have been activated with visitors from all across Tasmania.

"It's great to see Launceston embracing the vibrancy and energy that Mona Foma brings to our city.

"The City of Launceston is proud to have been a supporter of the event since it expanded to Northern Tasmania back in 2018.

"This event is a wonderful drawcard for Launceston, and I want to congratulate event director Brian Ritchie and his army of enthusiastic coordinators and volunteers on their continued success in Launceston."
