On Council Meeting days, the audio of the Council Meeting is streamed live on the City of Launceston's meeting stream channel on YouTube.

  • A list of Council Meeting days is available here, meetings start at 1pm (streaming starts earlier to allow for testing). 
  • Past audio recordings can be listened to on the meeting stream channel for six months.
  • To obtain a copy of a Council Meeting audio recording, please complete this request form(PDF, 149KB) and return to our Customer Service Centre.  A fee applies for this service.
  •  The Mayor or their representative will provide notice that the meeting will be recorded through live streaming. By attending a Council meeting, attendees will be taken to have consented to their image, speech or statements being live streamed or published here.
  • The live streaming and video recording of these public meetings is protected by copyright and owned by the City of Launceston. The recordings are provided by the City of Launceston for personal and non-commercial use. Video, images and audio contained in a live streaming and video recording must not be altered, reproduced or republished without the permission of the City of Launceston. Copyright remains with the City of Launceston.
