Plumbing Permits

There are four categories of plumbing work:

  • Plumbing work that can be undertaken by owner
  • Plumbing work that doesn’t need a permit (non-notifiable)
  • Plumbing work that doesn’t need a permit but the Council must be notified on completion (notifiable)
  • Plumbing work that requires a plumbing permit

Typically a plumbing permit will accompany a building permit. But if you need a stand-alone plumbing permit, please contact us:
